WORLD AMATEUR INTER-TEAM GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
Malaysia is a land of incredible contrasts, and a golfer's paradise. The World Amateur Inter-Team Golf Championship Tournament is set for 2008.
There are seven preliminary rounds where amateur teams compete at a variety of venues. Four winners of each round will be invited back to Malaysia , all expenses paid, to compete in the Grand Final Tournament in Malacca.
The Tournament Package includes a two nights in Kuala Lumpur to relax and freshen up after your flight, then it’s off to play in the tournament.

ELIGIBILITY
The tournament is open to all amateur golfers in a team of minimum of 3 and maximum of 4 players with a valid USGA, National Handicapping System or club verified handicap (whichever is lower) of 18 and below for men or 24 and below for ladies.***
PRELIMINARY ROUNDS
There will be 7 preliminary rounds to be played at selected championship golf courses. Each round will be open to maximum of 32 teams on a first come- first-served basis.
From each of the preliminary rounds, 4 teams will qualify for the Grand Final as follows:
- 2 gross teams based on stroke play.
- 2 teams based on stableford points
GRAND FINAL
The qualifying teams from the preliminary rounds will be invited to play in the Grand Final hosted by Tourism Malaysia. All members of the team will be provided with roundtrip air, accommodation, ground transportation and daily breakfast.
